Lenten Family Intergenerational Event
Held on Monday, February 27, 2017, Faith Formation Director Mary Blythe provided our first step toward making 2017 our Best. Lent. Ever! at Saint Agnes. If you didn’t attend, find out what you missed and participate in the post-event activity. If you did attend, find your picture or your favorite activity and share it all over again!
Daily Mass and Thursday Adoration

This is our 7th offering of Following Christ over the last 6 years and if you’ve already completed Discovering Christ, you’re ready for Following Christ! Lent is the perfect time for Following Christ because the focus is on developing your prayer life (or improving it) and learning more about being a disciple of Christ. Join us Thursdays, 7-9 p.m. March 2 – April 20 (excluding Holy Thursday). More info.
Join the Parish Choir
Practices are Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m. in the church and new members are most welcome to join our exceptional parish choir now as they prepare the music of Lent and Easter. Just come to practice or call Karen Kustra at 724-863-8687. Who knows? Your Best Lent Ever might really be the year that you joined the choir!
Because I am Catholic: I pray–I serve–I give
This is the theme for the Diocesan Lenten Appeal this year. We all know that this annual appeal helps support the work of the Diocese in many ways but did you know that once we meet the target set by the diocese, our parish keeps every penny above that! This year, we want to raise an additional $15,000 above our target to support weekend nutrition for low-income families in the school district AND fund the renovation of two confessionals into a Prayer Chapel with votive candles. Check your mail for the letter from Monsignor Paul or visit the diocesan site to make a donation (be sure to choose Saint Agnes as your parish!) or for more information on what this fund supports.
