As part of their preparation for Confirmation, our 2021-22 8th Graders gathered for 5 mornings of Confirmation Boot Camp in late July.  The students used materials from both  Dynamic Catholic’s program called “Decision Point” and Ascension Press’ program called “Chosen” which they will continue to use throughout their year of preparation.  During Boot Camp with the help of their adult mentors, they took a deeper dive into the Bible, their prayer life, the “True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist,” and of course, friendship and fellowship. For the next few months, we ask the parish to pray for these young people as they prepare for the Holy Spirt and their Confirmation this spring.  Here is a short prayer to say for them now and whenever you have the chance:
