Father Dan and niece
last Easter.

The Lord is Risen, Alleluia! It is a joy to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord with you all! May the light of the Resurrection shine brightly in your hearts, minds, families, and lives! A special welcome to those who may be returning here while visiting your family for the Easter Holiday. You are always welcome here!

GOSPEL: This morning’s Gospel places us at the empty tomb, in awe of what has taken place. Jesus has conquered the grave and opened for us the way to life! Let us each make an act of faith and welcome the Risen Lord more fully into our minds, hearts, families, and lives!

EASTER OCTAVE: The Church cannot contain her Easter joy and so celebrates each of the next eight days liturgically as Easter Day. This is called an ‘octave’. If you are available, I would invite and encourage you to attend the daily Masses this week, complete with liturgical ‘extras’ so that we might fully celebrate the great Paschal Feast!

I also again want to say a special word of thanks to those who assisted with our Holy Week liturgies in so many different capacities but especially our staff, liturgical and musical minsters, art and environment, and all the others who helped. I continue to look forward to meeting you and learning about our parish!

God Bless You!
