Once again this year, our St. Vincent De Paul Society (St. Agnes Conference) which serves all 3 parishes (St. Agnes, Immaculate Conception & St. Elizabeth Ann Seton) is sponsoring the “Shoe Box Santa Project” benefitting people in Appalachia. If you would like to participate, plese fill a shoe box with some of the items listed below–items from both columns. Please wrap the shoe box in Christmas paper and put a signed Christmas Card inside the shoe box to add to the recipient’s holiday cheer!
Please mark the left side on the top of each box with ‘Male’ or ‘Female.”
Wrapped shoe boxes may be dropped off in the container inside the church vestibule starting Monday, October 9th through Sunday, October 22nd. Your generous donations will be collected by St. Vincent De Paul Society members for distribution to people in need in Southwest West Virginia and Kentucky.
If you have any questions, please call Carl Becker of our local St. Vincent De Paul Society at 412-751-5029. Thank you so much for your time and consideration involving this worthwhile project! God bless you!
