The Answer to:
“Why do I have to go to Mass?”

The goal of Altaration is not fill our heads with information, but to pierce our hearts with transformation and appreciate the awesome beauty and mystery of the Mass.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church calls the Mass, “The source and summit of our Catholic Faith”, and yet so many
Catholics do not regularly attend. If you ask them why, the number one response is, “I just don’t get anything out of
Mass”. The Mass is rich in symbolism and has multiple layers of meaning, that when understood lead to a deeper appreciation for this beautiful Sacrament.

During 4 Sundays in Lent, we will be presenting the highly acclaimed DVD series on the Mass, “Altaration.”

Please join us as we explore the Great Mystery of the Mass. (Easy to relate to and great for teens!)
