Mass on the Grass: Sundays at 4:30 5 p.m.
SUMMER 2021 UPDATE
Monsignor Paul Fitzmaurice will continue to celebrate Mass facing outdoors from the open church narthex . The time has changed with Daylight Savings Time to be 1/2 hour later at 5 pm. Mass-goers are invited to bring lawn chairs to the grassy area near the parking lot OR as through the winter, may remain in their cars and tune in via 87.9 FM. Extraordinary Ministers will distribute the Eucharist under the portico or you may turn on your flashers and they will come to you.
Mass on the Grass Sundays at 4:30 pm 5 pm (please note new time!) will continue! You can attend Mass in your car or in good weather in the grassy areas as shown in the drawing to the right.
GRASS – In the grass you are welcome to use chairs or a blanket.
CAR – Please pull into a space so you can see the Altar in front of Resurrection Hall when outdoors or in the church Narthex/foyer in cold weather. TUNE TO 87.9 FM Listen to the Mass. You can remain in your car or stand near it.
COMMUNION – To receive the Eucharist, remember your mask and follow the solid arrows to the Extraordinary Minister (EM) and return to your area following the dotted arrows. If you are unable to walk to the EM, please notify an usher or turn on your car flashers when the Eucharist is distributed. (For gluten free hosts, notify Monsignor Paul or Deacon Bill; receive from Msgr. Paul.)
GENERAL NOTES
Please do not leave until the Mass has ended for safety concerns.
Masks must be worn if you are within 6 feet of others and when you receive the Eucharist.
