The Wild Goose

Please join us for this riveting new adult faith formation program about the Holy Spirit. Why “The Wild Goose?” It is a name that the early Celtic Christians had for the Holy Spirit: “Ah Geadh-Glas,” or the wild goose and according to Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR, program author, apart from the Wild Goose there is no life.

The Wild Goose is a video series aimed at “discovering a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit.” Each of our 7 sessions will include viewing two video segments, prayer, light refreshments, and small group discussion time. The program does not build from one session to the next but rather each video segment is about the graces that the Holy Spirit bestows in a single encounter or experience. You will be able to reap benefits from the course even if you can only attend a few sessions. You can even “make up” what you miss by viewing the segments online. Sites such as Niagara Falls, Canada; St. John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C.; and even our own St. Anthony Chapel in Troy Hill, PA provide the backdrop and inspiration for the 14 segments.

Our program previewers had this to say:

“I reviewed the ‘Gifts of the Holy Spirit’ segment. WOW! The background imagery right off of the bat was breathtaking….and the speakers were captivating. I especially enjoyed the young nun; the joy in her heart was so evident. I think the stories shared brought the message to life and helped me relate to it.”
…Sherri

”When we began watching it, we realized that this series was so profound that it was meant to be shared — with EVERYONE! Anyone who takes part of this series will praise God! Lives can truly be changed.”
…Audrey
