Women of Grace

Ladies of the Parish – This one’s for you (and your sisters in faith)!

Contrary to what “Reality TV” tells us, authentic femininity comes from being a daughter of God!

Join us to be strengthened for your journey to holiness and finding God’s awesome purpose and mission for you in the world today. We will explore the journey of faith and purpose in daily life for women through a program developed by the founder and host of EWTN’s Women of Grace television program, Jonette Benkovic. By taking the Blessed Virgin Mary as our exemplar and Spiritual Mother, we will grow in the feminine virtues and the secrets of true fulfillment.

The cost for the program is $48 which breaks down to just $1.85 per session, less than a Redbox Blu-rayFull of Grace study guide movie or a plain cup of Starbuck’s coffee. That’s quite reasonable when you consider that the others will enrich your mind and body while the Women of Grace program will enrich your very soul!

Participants will receive a program package containing a beautifully bound, illustrated study guide required for all participants, “Full of Grace: Women and the Abundant Life” and the Women of Grace black and pink tote bag. Program length is 26 weeks.

If you have participated in this study previously, you are welcome to join us again as you already have your materials. New study guide packages are available for purchase at the St. Agnes Office during regular business hours.

Testimonials from St. Agnes Women of Grace participants, 2015.

Just when we think we know everything about being Catholic or being a Christian or what we have heard in the bible readings etc. [we are] reminded that we will never know everything about God and that is never a bad thing. He wants us to be curious, to admit we don’t know enough and then He is literally dying to show us how much we are loved and cherished if we but only ask! This was my experience this past 8 months in the Woman of Grace Foundational Study. I not only learned so much about God’s love for me, but how important my being a woman is to the world and “my world” according to God’s plan, not my plan. I feel empowered; I feel encouraged; I feel needed and I know I am loved even more than I could ever imagine before…that’s what God did for me as I took the first tiny step… […] Thank you God for loving me into reality and empowering me to be the best person I can be. Right here. Right now. In this place in time. Through gifts like Woman of Grace and St. Agnes Parish. I hope other women will join the journey.

I would like to share a few words on the Women of Grace study that I was so blessed to participate in. To be very honest, I was a little skeptical about doing this. The commitment time was long but as I came to realize early on, worth every moment. […] I found myself wanting to absorb everything. The discussion and sharing was so powerful. To be surrounded by like-minded women seeking to want to know our faith in a deeper level was truly something I had always desired. A few years back I realized that my walk of faith needed something more. I wanted to truly know my Catholic faith and I truly believe God has put me on the right path. I can’t thank you enough. God Bless all involved in giving me and all the women who participated in this this wonderful opportunity. Truly needed in our world today.

[…] The Women of Grace study is the perfect response to the plea delivered by the Council Fathers, in the closing speeches of the Second Vatican Council (Dec. 1965) that “the hour is coming, in fact has come, when women imbued with the Spirit of the Gospel will do much to aid humanity in not falling.” This mission has been ours since the “yes” given by the Blessed Virgin Mary. Johnnette Benkovic beautifully draws from Our Lady, our faith, and all the amazing saints we have as additional role models to give us a guide toward finding our personal “yes” to God. […] For me it was thrilling to be with women who understood, shared, and encouraged the pursuit of a deeper walk. We shared our joys and sorrows, our stories of success and failure, and we shared many laughs and tears. I have a sacred sisterhood of women now that has strengthened and comforted me. This has been a truly transforming 26 weeks of learning and growing. I am grateful to have been a part of this wonderful [program]. I know it will continue to change our world, one Woman of Grace at a time!!
